When it comes to something as sensitive as funeral planning, it's important to deal with an organisation that understands your needs and ensures your loved ones are looked after. That's why Sun Life Direct has joined forces with The Co-operative Funeralcare.

With more than 1,000 Co-operative owned funeral homes and a network of Funeral Directors in local communities, The Co-operative Funeralcare is the largest Funeral Director in the country*, and they take great pride in their reputation and standards of service. The Co-operative Funeralcare provides the individual support, care and reassurance needed when it matters most.

If you choose to take out Funeral Assist, The Co-operative Funeralcare will provide the essential elements of your cremation funeral and take care of the arrangements. The Co-operative Funeralcare Funeral Director will be able to provide your family with expert guidance and advice on the cost of additional services and any special touches your family would like to add. If you have any personal wishes, these can be recorded with The Co-operative Funeralcare and passed on to your family at the time of your funeral. Once your application has been processed you will receive a funeral documents folder which will include a Personal Wishes form for you to complete.

The funeral arrangements included in your Funeral Assist will be provided by The Co-operative Funeralcare as long as you've been paying your monthly premiums for at least two years.
